Mormonism 1:9 - “We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.”

What It Is

A bold statement, recognizing that God does not only teach from the ancient past but also in the present time and will continue to do so in the future. It acknowledges that, through a validated source, there can be adaptations and expansions in the religious organization, as well as what it has stood for. This recognition leaves the authority of God open, attempting not to strictly insist on the past writings of men as the religious structure, while seeking to adhere to God’s guidance as much as possible. However, it leaves room for doubt and questioning of the validity of sources, not entirely open to everyone insisting they have information or can provide these adaptations. The right is reserved to isolate the source to the particular prophets, seers, and revelators already established.

When It Started

A statement was made concerning the reorganization of the church in which it was developed, ensuring that it must remain open to acknowledge why it is possible for there to be such a “restoration of the gospel.” If this were not true, there could be no adaptations made through their own additional texts, and instead, it would strictly rely on reiterations of ancient wisdom provided. Therefore, the statement’s purpose was to support the recognition that God remains participatory in the life of man and has not completely abandoned His creation.

Even though this statement was meant to provide reason for their own adaptations and expansions, they do believe that God works in mysterious ways. There is, however, an insistence on the organization. While they encourage personal relationships with God through prayer and study and claim to be open to revisions, they do not believe revelations would be contradictory to what has already been taught. Therefore, while personal revelation is sought after, it is rarely taken into consideration beyond personal application.

Intentionally building anticipation for the discoveries to come through himself as the prophet, personal revelations, as well as what will be revealed from opening and translating the remainder of the “golden plates,” which remain sealed to this day, insisting that the visitation and instruction to do so will come as obviously as it did for Joseph Smith. The church is not in possession of the plates; however, they do own the property where they are said to be buried. Even these plates are only the abridged compilation of the cave full of similar historical documents, which Mormon spent most of his life choosing what parts should be shared.

Often, this statement is assumed that this refers to the continuation of the line of prophets to come after him; however, that was never discussed by Joseph himself but only briefly referenced the night before he was killed, handing the continuation of the church over to the few of the twelve apostles who were present. This led to the immediate branching off into three different forms of the church, one of which was led by Joseph’s son.

Where We Relate

As Undefinable and Expansive, we entirely agree that greater depths of understanding are constantly revealing themselves, have revealed themselves gradually, and will continue to reveal themselves according to the ability to comprehend by those seeking understanding. While it is understandable to insist that such revelations adhere to specific standards already established, we remain advocates of personal revelation and the personal application of its unique guidance. We strongly advise receptivity and attentiveness to continuous personal inspiration throughout daily endeavors.

We also concur that the comprehension of “the kingdom of God” is expansive, and fully grasping what it pertains to is achieved through first-hand experience. While revealed through information, the mind that comprehends must adapt to the new information to be adjusted to greater experiences of it. Therefore, while refraining from the experience of it, receiving information revelation appears to be endless.

We also believe that if the additional portions of the golden plates actually revealed truths greater than those already received, they would be similar to what we are providing here. We recognize that cultural distinctions distort such truths, much like the rest of what has already been received. Attempting to convey the truth is much harder than receiving it.

The Wholly Spiritual Universe has been understood in many ways, as its function has been to convey communications between “God” and the perceiver. It has easily been, and remains, misunderstood because of its focus on maintaining its function. It has been believed that the Spirit and “God” are free to interfere with our world. We have confused lesser authorities, which it has also manifested as, to be what they are. For example, if “God” is believed to be a physical entity, then it has been distorted into a construct more understandable. Such anthropomorphization is necessary to communicate with those who cannot see or hear beyond the physical construct they know. However, the reality of “God” remains the totality of all that is, including our physical forms; in totality, it cannot be specified as any portion or aspect.

The function of the Wholly Spiritual Universe has been perceived as a teacher, intending to reveal and show more about reality while also being required to manifest what is known as reality. Therefore, while it desires to reveal more, it is also required to disguise and veil what it is with the current beliefs held by the perceiver. Hence, the importance of revelation has not been emphasized as much as the experience of being and joining together.

Revelation is not for “God”; it is for those who do not already know all there is to know. “God” is manifest, and it does not desire to reveal the fullness truth as much as it desires a simple relationship with the perceiver. If the perceiver possesses beliefs regarding revelation, it can then manifest as revelations, to then enjoy the relationship they have through them also. Revelations are not retained by “God” and kept from man, for man does not desire revelations nor purify his intentions in receiving them.

“God”, through the Wholly Spiritual Universe, is in constant anticipation of joining through various ways, and direct communication is a preference made by man as he has anthropomorphized communication to be between bodies. Before bodies, communication was not reliant on words nor on actions. It remains a form of symbolic representation, and bodies are part of it. Through adapting to living as the symbols, it has been assumed that it’s forms of communication has always been the only form of conveying contact.

Clearly, the statement does insist that they believe all that “God” has and will reveal, but it does not insist that all that is assumed to be from “God” is not actually from an adversary. It was quickly recognized that such information from others often seemed contradictory to previous works and, therefore, must present some sort of consistency to be considered.

Unknowingly, we assume that the “kingdom of heaven” is as solidified as the structure of time and space and could not alter to varying perceptions. While interpretation is a habit of man, the assumption resists additional adaptations to the definitions established. While the desire to be open is present, actual open-mindedness is usually absent, simply by the presence of such definitions.

With An Open Mind

“God” is not something specific in some far-off place. It is an ultimate dimensional “being” within which everything is contained. Everyone exists within the reality of “God,” including all of their ideas, will, and desires. While it seems that this cannot be so when it is contradictory to the idea that “God” is pure and perfect and that the majority of people, including ourselves, are not, it is true that with mankind's obsession with such knowledge of “good and evil,” the definition of perfection cannot be comprehended. For the knowledge is literally of the separation between all that “God” is and the perceiver.

Often, concepts of being worthy and pure in heart are related to receiving divine knowledge and wisdom, as well as revelation and visitation. This is because of what such purity pertains to—not one’s personal actions, as it might seem, but their perception of everything, including actions. The pure do not only naturally act more in accord with love, but they also assume everyone else is. Not only do they not think of “evil,” but they are also unaware that others do, and this is how they receive such revelations.

When we judge others for anything, it is not only judged on us as well, but we are also required to adhere to the judgments we made, merely thinking they are about another. Our world is shaped additionally, more in-depth and secluded, because of our additional judgments. The more judgments accepted in our minds, the blinder and deafer we become to the reality beyond the veil of physicality.

“God” is here and completely visible; He cannot hide from us. He only awaits our acceptance of our purity for Him to reveal Himself through those judgments. Naturally, we look at our past, our actions, and how we feel almost every day—how much we hate the world and people around us—and therefore we find it impossible ever to be such purity. However, again, purity is not based on what we do or say. All those things occur from what we believe, and what we believe is evident in those we see. As a reflection, it represents what you believe.

“Forgiveness” is usually misdirected towards the repentance process of our own actions, but it is rarely directed towards others' actions upon and around us. However, this is the actual place where the benefit of forgiveness can be received by ourselves. Usually, we want to be forgiven for our wrongdoings, but if we believe it is possible for others to commit wrongdoings and remain sinners cast out from God, then we have not received forgiveness ourselves. To receive forgiveness requires the giving of forgiveness. It concerns the beliefs that lead to our actions, and others' wrongdoings reveal these beliefs. You cannot be forgiven if you choose not to forgive.

Forgiveness is not really about actions, even as it concerns beliefs; those beliefs are not regarding actions either. However, the process will start there. The forgiveness necessary to receive revelation by the purification of our perception is from that which distorts reality. These beliefs make up physicality entirely, which is extremely hard to grasp when physicality seems so prevalent and that it is what we are. The attempts to convey the acceptance of the idea, which becomes physical, through the story of “Adam and Eve” were and remain extremely misunderstood.

As communication has relied on symbols, the insistence on bodies and people in the story was overbearing, overshadowing the true “moral” of the story. The entire event was not regarding disobedience but more so renovation and inventive collaboration. Regardless of the actual event and what took place, it was the idea of being our own directors and choosers of our reality from inside the reality and not outside, as it was previously experienced.

It is an experience of individuality while remaining in the totality of what “God” actually is. This means it is possible for there to be a perception of all that is, as opposed to simply being all that is. Regardless of all the details, it was the entering into additional depth of dimensions of itself, and needing to believe that opposing “God” is possible was required to make it seem so. The reality of being the totality of it is that nothing could oppose what it actually is. But it can develop ideas which it believes contradict its totality into segregation, appearing to actually contradict itself, the reality of itself, which goes by different rules being an alternate dimension.

Therefore, forgiveness allows us to surrender what we believe we see to instead discover the reality of “God” beyond it—beyond the form that distorts its communication device into physicality. How could anyone receive direct communication if everything presented is made into something it is not?

How We Unite

It is hard to join with anyone, let alone “God” if we believe we can judge the quality of a person based on what we believe they have done, especially when they could do the same things to you or those you love. It is perfectly acceptable to protect yourself from what you have already judged, for you too are now required to live by those judgments.

However, for the select few of us who do desire divine revelation and realization, it is required that we see beyond what we believe to do so. As soon as we isolate the beliefs so we can recognize them, we can learn to see them without discernment of any kind. When someone authentically surrenders the judgments of their existence, it is right there, through whatever they perceive, that the reality of “God’s Face” can reveal itself.

How It’s True

It has always been sharing this experience with you. Not literally walking with you in a garden, but as the garden—as the animals, trees, flowers, and rocks, but not in the literal sense, which is only one of those beliefs it adheres to, but as an essence which has never changed size or come closer or further away from you. Something that always has been, but never was what it was made to appear.

It is ready to reveal all its truths to you about what it is, the kingdom, and what you actually are. Even while that is all it shows you now as the world, it shows you all you believe you are, and as you surrender what you believe, it can then show you what you actually are.
